Director of Commercial/Business Development

This role will be a foundational member of the company’s Commercial / Business Development team.

This role will be integral to the development, delivery, review, and maturation of the company’s commercial strategy to drive business growth.

Pi Squared is a deep tech company with a technical product. As such, the ideal candidate possesses a solid technical grounding via his or her education and/or professional experience. For example, the ideal candidate could have transitioned from early technical roles in their career, to be more the business side with progressive responsibility.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the company’s go-to-market strategy
  2. Develop and implement enterprise customer / partner acquisition strategy across Web 2 and Web3
  3. Own customer relationships via sales, marketing, and customer service.
  4. Oversee and champion web3 community building.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Strong commercial background across Web2 and Web3
  2. Proven experience in business development in the Web3 space.
  3. Proven experience at the coalface of a startup, i.e., at its infancy
  4. Demonstrable experience of managing operational performance within financial budgets
  5. Proven ability to attract new enterprise quality sales and retain existing customers
